The Ikego area was a former ammunition depot in Zushi City. In 1937, the Japanese Imperial Navy used the land as a storehouse for ammunition.
Some of their famous attractions are Ikego Artifacts Museum, Clam Rock exhibit and Campsite in the East Valley.
There is also the Ikego Housing Area, a quiet location to call home. There are 853 homes which are a combination of both townhouses and tower apartments. Ikego Hills is set in forested hills in the seaside resort town of Zushi.
